TINA KAUTTER AWARDED SPECIAL RECOGNITION
HONORARY LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP

Tina Kautter, CAE, FAPA Executive Director and the group of FAPA Past, Current, and Future Presidents who were on hand to help present her with the award.

Tina Kautter, CAE, the Executive Director of the Academy, was presented with the "LIFETIME HONORARY MEMBERSHIP AWARD" by FAPA President Ron Pace, PA-C, during the awards ceremony at the Annual Membership Luncheon at the summer conference in St. Pete Beach. The Board of Directors voted unanimously to present Ms. Kautter with this emeritus award on the occasion of her 10th anniversary as the Executive Director of FAPA. It was a very special occasion as Ms. Kautter normally knows about everything that goes on in our Academy, but this was arranged in total secrecy from her and she was obviously completely surprised by the award.

In his remarks to the membership Mr. Pace made note of the progress the Academy has made under the guidance of Ms. Kautter over the past ten years. He mentioned our successful conferences, the newsletter, the website, or winning the AAPA Chapter Excellence Award on three occasions, and the reputation that FAPA has built as a result of the hard work of Ms. Kautter and her staff at Kautter Management Group. Our success as an Academy is due greatly to the expertise of Tina Kautter and the staff at Kautter Management Group under her expert leadership and "can do" attitude.

More importantly has been her willingness to always go above and beyond to meet the needs of the Academy, its membership, and the Academy leadership team. She has been an advisor, mentor, and friend to ten Presidents now, and in all that she does she has always placed the needs of the Academy first, many times at great personal sacrifice. Mr. Pace described her most adequately as the consummate Executive Director.

In addition to the beautiful plaque presented to Tina on this occasion, the Presidents contributed personally to a special gift in appreciation for her hard work and dedication to the Florida Academy, a check in the amount of $1,000.00. This was greatly appreciated since Tina and her husband, Bill, were departing on a well deserved vacation after she returned from the FAPA summer conference.

Congratulations Tina, on a well deserved award, and thank you on behalf of all the FAPA membership.

By Ron Pace, PA-C,
FAPA President
