GROUP EMAIL FOR FAPA MEMBERS ONLY
Enhancing Communication in FAPA

For sometime now we have had a group email service available for FAPA members only. As promised we have not bombarded folks with unnecessary emails. We did institute a weekly FAPA Gram news email to keep the members informed of what is happening in Florida and the nation that may affect our profession. And we have utilized it on occasion for legislative alerts. This is one of the most important membership benefits available for you.

Signing up for this has been done on a volunteer basis and less than half the FAPA membership is signed up for the group email service. To those members who have not chosen to partake of this service I would urge you to reconsider and sign up as soon as possible for it. You are missing the boat on important information releases. The PAper comes out every six weeks. The FAPA Gram is done weekly.

More importantly we use the email group to request assistance with matters of importance such as legislative issues like the recent FMG situation. Telephone and faxes don't work as quickly as email and occasionally we need action on your part in a hurry. I would strongly urge each and every FAPA member to sign up for the group email service as soon as you can.

To sign up for the service go to the Members Only section and in the left navigation bar just click on the link to Group Email Signup. It will bring up a window where you type in your email address, then click on the "Join Now" button. You will receive an email from YahooGroups.com confirming your request to join the group. To complete the process, simply hit "Reply To" function on your email program and then hit Send. You will be added to the group and start receiving the FAPA Gram with the next issue, and other important information as necessary. Again, we promise not to inundate you with unnecessary emails, and no one has access to the database except for the group moderator.
