Membership in Florida Osteopathic Medical Association Now Available!

The Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA) has just informed the Academy that Physician Assistants who work with osteopathic physicians may join their association as Associate Members. This is a major breakthrough for the PA profession in Florida.  Watch for more details in the newsletter. Applications will be on the website in the near future when details are worked out. FOMA can also be reached at 850-878-7364 to obtain an application form.  Annual dues are $175.00. This may seem high to some folks but the political advantages for us are potentially tremendous.  So if you work for an osteopathic physician, please give this some serious thought. It could be paid for by your employer if your contract covers such expenses. We are also working on the same association with the Florida Medical Association (FMA).
