Dear Members,

Thank you to all who have renewed their membership.  FAPA is the only organization that advocates for OUR PA profession in the state. Please renew your membership  CLICK HERE and take advantage of the free Safe Prescribing of Controlled Substances Course as a FAPA member  CLICK HERE

This month, I would like to highlight our Public Relations (PR) and Cultural Diversity Committees (CDC).  The CDC is chaired by Stephanie Rivera-Smith.  The CDC Spotlight is looking for short essay submissions on culturally related topics to educate the PA Community. Check out the CDC Facebook page  CLICK HERE  and email Stephanie  sriverapac@gmail.com  if you are interested in submitting a short essay.

The PR Committee is chaired by Florinda Fernandes. The PR Committee is making sure FAPA community engagement across the state is known.  Click here  to see and join the FAPA PR Facebook page and email Florinda florindaf8@gmail.com on ways to get involved or to promote an event you are participating in.

Please be sure to introduce yourself to me, share concerns and ask questions when you attend the FAPA 2018 Winter Symposium & Recertification Review.  CLICK HERE to register.

We head to Tallahassee in January for Legislative Days. Stay tune for updates on our Facebook page and emails from our Legislative Executive Committee Co-Chairs, Ricardo Morales and Aila Rawlins, once the Legislative Session starts in 2018.

As always, I am here to assist you any way I can, so feel free to email me your questions and comments at pasuecares@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Susan M. Salahshor, PhD, PA-C, DFAAPA
